Why WE MEASURE
Just like a flight simulator allows a pilot to see how they may respond to various situations, ZYTO provides information as to how the body may respond to various “situations” or stimuli. These signals are generated using ZYTO software. We call these Virtual Items.
Some of these Virtual Items may include:
- Chemicals
- Viruses
- Nutritional Supplements
The body is able to respond to the Virtual Item in less than one second. Responses are gathered and displayed in reports. When paired with other tests and methods, these reports assist wellness professionals and their clients in making individualized wellness decisions

What we measure
When the parts and pieces of a system work in harmony with one another, we call this coherence. The greater a system’s coherence, oftentimes the greater its efficiency. Measuring this signal of cooperation, or the lack thereof, provides understanding about what may increase or decrease efficiency.
When the body’s energetic coherence increases after a Virtual Item is introduced, the item is given a positive score. If the body’s energetic coherence decreases, the item is given a negative score.
How we measure
Just like a doctor uses a stethoscope to listen to a child’s breathing, ZYTO “listens” to the body’s subtle galvanic skin response using the ZYTO Hand Cradle. Through this connection, biocommunication can occur.
The process of measuring responses as various Virtual Items are introduced to the body includes the following steps.
1. Determine Range
Each ZYTO scan begins by measuring the body’s responses to 35 neutral digital signals. The median response to this neutral stimulus becomes the range, or the parameter of the body’s response to energetic stimulus in general. Once the range is established, the software introduces specific Virtual Items and compares the response to the parameters set in the range.
2. Evaluate Dynamic Baseline
Your body’s energetic state is constantly changing. For this reason, we measure its coherence before each stimulus is introduced.
3. Send Stimulus
The Virtual Item is a unique digital code representing an actual item—a food, product, service, organ, body system, etc. Just like a flight simulator mimics flying in real life, these items represent “situations” the body may respond to.
4. Measure Response
The degree of coherence to which your body responds to a Virtual Item is measured using galvanic skin response, or GSR.
5. Calculate Deviation Ratio
The difference between the response and the baseline is calculated. The resulting calculation is the dR, or deviation ratio:
A positive number dR is assigned when the response was more coherent than the baseline, indicating biological coherence.
A negative number is assigned to a less coherent response, indicating biological aversion.
A 0 dR means the response was the same as its baseline reading, indicating a neutral response.
6. Plot Data
Responses can be sorted and displayed in a variety of ways to make comparisons and decisions during and after a scan is complete.
