Reiki, a form of energy therapy, is a Japanese technique that is excellent for relaxation and calming (de-stress). It also supports the body in its ever-constant healing state, awakening the receiver to a deeper understanding of what may be causing ill health—and the path they personally need to take to feel better.
Reiki is an unseen life force energy, flowing through every living thing. If one’s life force energy is depleted, illness or stress often result. When our energy flows without blockages, we are more capable of living a happy and healthy life.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words: Rei which means “God’s Wisdom or the Higher Power” and Ki which is “life force energy”. Essentially it is “spiritually guided life force energy.” This energy does not come from the practitioner, rather it flows through them to the client, where the energy is most needed at any given moment.
A treatment feels like a energetic massage that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects including relaxation, feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.
Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.
Reiki is an ever-present modality that is infused throughout my therapy sessions. I am attuned to Reiki Master level. This level is not a label, but a certification awarded due to the many stages of growth and healing a Reiki practitioner undergoes during his or her training. To become a channel for healing, we must first be healed ourselves. My Reiki Master is Patti Penn, whom I trained with in Los Angeles, California, in 2007 through 2009. Patti was a guiding light in my early spiritual journey and I am forever grateful for her wisdom and teachings.
Energy Medicine is a potent, yet not widely known, form of treatment that works with the energy field, which in turn positively impacts the physical. My work follows the teachings of energy medicine pioneer, Donna Eden, and supports clients to boost their vitality and stamina, strengthen the immune system and enhance overall health and wellbeing.
Energy Medicine techniques, when applied correctly and consistently, may have profound effects.
