About Shannon Dunn
With a 30-year career spanning journalism and photography, public relations, entertainment, social impact and holistic wellness, Shannon Dunn brings global expertise to projects that use story and connection to inspire trust, belonging, and positive change.
Clarity. Connection. Creative Impact.
Shannon Dunn is a journalist, storyteller and creative director with more than 30 years’ experience across media, photography, public relations, corporate communications, publishing, business and social impact. Whether guiding leaders and organisations to communicate with purpose or writing children’s stories that help the next generation stand tall in who they are, her work shares a single intention: to use story as a force for truth, connection, and lasting impact.
Storyteller & Creative Director
Through Communeco, Shannon partners with businesses, visionaries, and changemakers to transform ideas into clear strategies, compelling stories, and tangible results. Whether shaping brand positioning, crafting campaigns, or developing creative assets, she brings both precision and heart to the process. Her clients span industries, from film and fast-moving consumer goods to coaches and thought leaders, all united by a shared purpose to make meaningful impact.
Author & Award-Winner
Beyond her consulting work, Shannon Dunn is the author of books for both children and adults, including creator and co-author of The Adventures of Tao & Friends, a series that blends wisdom and imagination to help young readers grow in courage, kindness, and connection with nature. Her upcoming children’s series continues this purpose, inspiring young hearts to grow in self-worth and authenticity. A Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Business Award winner, she now helps businesses and visionaries do the same: to speak, shine, and share their truth.
Holistic Beauty & Health Expert
Her career has included roles as a sought-after eco beauty editor and the first CertClean Clean Beauty Awards judge chosen outside North America, a position she held for five years, establishing her as a trusted voice in holistic health, sustainability, and conscious living. These experiences continue to inform her approach to brand storytelling, blending journalistic precision with a deep awareness of human connection and wellbeing.
Women’s Holistic Health Coach
Shannon has also spent seven years teaching women holistic healing principles in her Prolapse Holistic Healing Support group. A condition (and silent epidemic) that affects more than 50 percent in the Western World, Shannon teaches the body has innate capacity to heal, given the right support. Through her guidance, women have gone on to heal and live full lives without symptoms. Book a session via The HELD Collective here. Join The HELD Circle monthly Zoom calls here.
