Many of us want a quick fix—a pill to pop to make the pain go away—so we can get in with being “busy” so we don’t have to face the pain we have suppressed.

DECIDE TO BE FEARLESS

I didn't heal by breathing how someone else told me to.

I didn't heal because someone told me to only do things in a certain way.

I didn't heal because I took one miracle supplement.

I didn't heal because I learned how to squeeze my vagina in a certain way.

I didn't heal because I bought an online exercise program and followed its steps.

I healed because I did none of that.

I healed because I tuned out from the noise and tuned into my own inner wisdom.

I healed because I knew I knew my body better than any doctor, any physiotherapist or any dietician.

I healed because I believed in my body and acted upon its needs.

I am not an exception to the rule. I am a woman who stepped into my own power and took charge of my own health, my own vitality and my own needs of mind, body and soul.

With the erosion of belief in the source of all things, fear has become rampant. When we have belief in our creator and an unwavering knowing we are supported without exception, fear naturally dissipates. Whether you resonate with “God”, the “Universe” or “Higher Power”, it doesn’t really matter. It is the understanding we are born of the same light, the same source. If we came here for a purpose, even if it is to simply experience what it means to be human, we must find a place within ourselves to trust we are guided and supported for our highest good.

Fear simply breeds more of the same. When we are in a state of love and gratitude, we cannot enter into fear simultaneously. Practise the art of trusting all is well. It is then life rises up to meet you in the most synchronistic of ways.

To heal is not to reach a destination. The process of healing is experienced in the journey of coming to know our authentic selves. When we come to find and embrace our holistic self, in all of its facets—and support our whole self needs—it is then we may experience what we deem to be healing. The journey can never be in parts if we truly want to feel better. What we seek is seeking us. We just need to remember how to listen.
